One of the most wonderful ways that I've used Spiritual tools was to find Ed, my life's soul partner! I have to give some credit (well, OK a lot of credit) to White Eagle. He told me where to look. But ol' White Eagle didn't make it easy. The clue he gave me when I asked how I would connect with my future soulmate was the words "Blue Star". (I was hoping for a name and phone number!)

Sometimes I actually do listen to my inner guidance. So in 1992, when I was at the Win Win Business Forum and saw a nice looking man with a tiny blue star stuck on his nametag, I was elated for a few minutes, anyway. That is, until I saw the wedding ring on his finger. I thought it was going to be easy to follow White Eagle's blue star clue.

Undaunted, I struck up a conversation with this man. I felt it must be something like a treasure hunt, listening for the next clue. When Troy invited me to a meeting of the National Speaker's Association, I didn't hesitate to accept.

And THAT is where Ed Oakley was waiting for me to find him! He was just sitting there in the front row of the meeting with a stack of his newly published book "Enlightened Leadership" beside him. He looked pretty cute - and more importantly, no wedding ring! So I introduced myself. (I think I heard White Eagle chuckle).

Ed and I started dating in May of that year and after two weeks we were making life plans together! He is a wonderful man and I couldn't be happier to have found my blue star!
