We will be led by our shaman guide, Mallku; and Jonette’s spirit guides, Mark and White Eagle; and our own guidance to open the gateways for our personal spiritual Initiations into growth and service. We cannot predict what gifts this Journey will bring us. A similar journey, in 2004, was the basis for Jonette’s award winning book “The Eagle and the Condor.” See www.theEagleandtheCondor.com We expect an international group of travelers to join this expedition.

The trip includes all lodges and hotels (double occupancy); all air, land and water transportation within Peru; all entrance fees and guided tours; all breakfasts and other meals as indicated; meditations and shamanic journeys; workshop time with Jonette; a digital download of the complete set of meditations recorded during the trip. It does not include international travel, tips, beverages and meals except where indicated.

A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to hold your spot.  The remainder of $4445 is due by June 5, (or you will forfeit your deposit.) Please note that we are keeping the prices the same as 2008 even though we have added an extra day in the Sacred Valley. Detailed Itinerary

This itinerary may be subject to change

Day 1-SEP/13TH. TO LIMA*

Arrive into Lima, the capital of Peru. Airport reception and transfer to our hotel.

Because of the jetlag and the high altitude of Cuzco, we strongly suggest that you plan to come a day early to Lima—arriving on Sep. 12, and go immediately (or the next day, if that is the earliest flight)  to Cuzco to have an extra day to acclimatize. Prices for extra days are at the end of this itinerary.

Day 2-SEP 14/TH. LIMA-CUZCO
Early transfer to the airport for our flight to Cuzco. At our hotel we have an introduction to the Sacred Inca culture by our Shaman guide Mallku. Lunch is on your own. In the afternoon we have an easy walking tour of the center of Cuzco, the Puma City. We may visit the Coricancha, and some beautiful Inca streets. Group Welcome Dinner!

Day 3-SEP/15TH. INCA WAKAS (Holy places), Cuzco

Early in the morning, we initiate a ceremonial path discovering the power places in Cuzco city and its surroundings. Visit to the "waka" or holy place of
the Puma in Q'enqo, understand the solar initiation path and work with the
power of the solstice. Continue to Amaru Machay and to Sacsayhuaman—the amazing pre-Incan stone fortress outside Cuzco.

Day 4-SEP/16TH. SACRED VALLEY
We discover the culturally important and powerful Sacred Valley of the Inca. We visit the Initiation center at Chinchero and the magnificent House of Pachamama in Moray. The Sacred Valley was the center of Inca spirituality. Afternoon we visit the sanctuary of Ollantaytambo where people often report major spiritual experiences. Lunch included. Stay in a gorgeous lodge, where you will feel like royalty.

Day 5- SEP/17TH.  SACRED VALLEY

We have a beautiful day in a stunning hotel with time to enjoy the magnificent gardens. Jonette will lead us in a workshop to work with our ‘mesa’ or sacred bundle and to prepare for our spiritual mission. Perhaps we will end the evening with a bon fire. This might be the time that Mallku chooses for those who are interested to experience sacred plants. See options at the end.

Day 6-SEP/18. PISAC

Enjoy the colorful market for shopping and interacting with the locals. Explore the archaeological site with its rich architecture. Enjoy free time. (Lunch included)

Day 7-Sep/19. MARUS/UNU URQO/YUCAY

Continue exploring other sites around the Sacred valley of the Incas. Visit the Salt Mine of Maras, the Waka of the Puma and Serpents in Unu Urqo and the incredible irrigations systems in Yucay. End in an Inca palace in Urubamba. (Lunch included)

Day 8-SEP/20. OLLANTAYTAMBO/AGUAS CALIENTES

Transfer to a first class car in the tourist train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, the village at the foot of Machu Picchu. Day to rest and shop. (Lunch included)

Day 9-SEP/21. MACHU PICCHU

Take the bus to the Crystal City of Machu Picchu. If possible, meet the hikers at the end of their trek. Return with the entire group by bus down to Aguas Calientes. Enjoy a group Celebration Dinner, included.

Day 10-SEP/22ND. MACHU PICCHU: THE EQUINOX

After a very early breakfast we return to the Andean jewel of Machu Picchu, to enjoy the main sections. Mallku takes us through the history and sacred lore of the Inca’s Lost City. We are led on a profound ceremony of healing for the Equinox. We visit the Sacred Plaza, the Temple of the Sun and Royal Tomb. We marvel over the Inca architecture, craftsmanship and stonework. With Mallku's guidance we honor the Spirit of the Condor, taking time for meditation, personal reflection and offerings. For those ready for adventure, there may be an optional opportunity to climb the magnificent and powerful Wayna Picchu mountain. Climbing spots are very limited, so you will have to wait in a long line to get a ticket to climb. We will take the 7pm train to the Sacred Valley.

Day 11-SEP/23RD. SACRED VALLEY
Our gorgeous lodge is on the Urubamba River. We enjoy spending the morning in a group sharing, meditation and some channeling by Jonette, as we seek the higher meaning in our experiences so far. Ceremony in the Waka or sacred place of the Puma in UNU URQO. Over night in the valley.

Day 12-SEP/24TH. CUZCO – WIRACOCHA’S TEMPLE to PUNO at LAKE TITICACA

We travel by private bus, glimpsing the changing topography as we go. On the way we visit sites of the pre-Incan civilizations and the Temple of Wiracocha. We continue our bus ride to the town of Puno (12,505') at Lake Titicaca. At 3,827m in altitude, Puno is a melting pot of Andean cultures including the Aimara from the South and Quechua from the North.

Day 13-SEP/25TH. AMANTANI ISLAND
This morning we cross the highest navigable lake in the world by boat to the island of Amantani. On Amantani the spiritual leader of the community will led us in a POWER OFFERING for Pachamama. This night we share with the locals and stay in rooms in their modest homes. Amantani is a beautiful island with warm and hospitable inhabitants. Lunch & dinner included.

Day 14-SEP/26TH. AMANTANI - PUNO

Early in the morning we ascend to the temples of Pachatata and Pachamama where we present our offering to Pachamama and to life. We experience the merging of the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine and the energies of the Eagle and the Condor.  En route back to Puno we visit the floating reed islands of the Uros people. A picnic lunch is included today.

Day 15-SEP/27TH. PRE-INCA AIMARA WAKAS
Today is dedicated to experiencing the powerful energies of Lake Titicaca, known as the female pole of the planet. In many ways this part of the journey will be more important spiritually than even our visit to Machu Picchu. With Mallku's knowledge we begin to understand the ancient Aimara Temples to the south. Our group visits the Fertility Temple, and continues to the Ajayu Marka to walk along the Power Snake and meditate at its Dimensional Doorway, often called “The Gateway of Aramu Muru”. On our return to Puno we visit the Copamaya altars and communicate with the spirit of the great Lake Titicaca. Lunch and Farewell Dinner included.

Day 16-SEP/28TH. PUNO - SILLUSTANI - JULIACA - LIMA
This morning we make the hour drive to Juliaca. On the way we see the Andean Taj Mahal at Sillustani; this is an important altar honoring Pachamama and Wiraqocha. We catch our flight back to Lima. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. We have free time to shop or visit the Gold Museum. We enjoy a final dinner at a spectacular, waterfront restaurant.

Transfer to the airport and return home, beginning of a new path of magic.
