2012 A Dimensional Perspective

An ancient prophecy, shared by native people throughout the Americas, says when the Eagle of North America and the Condor of South America unite, the spirit of peace will awaken on Earth. After waiting for millennia, many native peoples believe the time is now. The Incas measured time in 1,000-year cycles, made up of two 500-year periods, one of darkness and difficulty followed by 500 years of light and advancement. Andean people believe that an age of darkness is now giving way to a 500-year period of light.

The Aztecs believed that we are in the Age of the 5th Sun. The Hopi people of the American southwest say that we are in the 4th World, or the 4th incarnation of Earth.

The ancient Mayans were obsessed with time, measuring numerous repeating cycles of time. Their ‘Long Count’ began in 3113 BC and ends on December 21, 2012. Their calendar does not end in 2012, it simply resets to begin another Long Count. This is much like the odometer of your old car rolling over to 000000 to start again.

Ancient people everywhere observed the skies and watched for the unfolding of greater patterns. They saw time as cyclical, never ending patterns that repeated. In this way, their worldview diverges from our more linear perspective where we reckon everything, including time as having a beginning, middle and an end.

On December 21st, 2012 the ecliptic path of the sun crosses the equatorial plane of the Milky Way in a cross-like pattern that ancient Maya recognized as the Sacred Tree. It is a galactic alignment between our sun and the center of our galaxy. Some say it represents an acceleration of time.

We must remember that a calendar is just a tracking devise for long periods of time, much as a wristwatch tracks shorter cycles of time. Either way, they are measuring systems for our third-dimensional, linear experience of time. From attending conferences on the subject, talking to native people, talking to my own spirit guides, and reading books on 2012 –of which there are countless—even The Complete Idiot’s Guide to 2012, I have come to understand the Mayan calendar as a map to changes in consciousness. We are moving from being merely third-dimensional beings—constrained by time and space—to being truly multidimensional humans, where we can have a more holographic or quantum experience that is beyond time. To put it simply, the calendar is indicating the end of old consciousness and the beginning of the new.

I can imagine the Mayan wisdom keepers and prophets looking far out into the future and reaching a point at which their inner seeing could go no further because human consciousness had made such a quantum leap that it was no longer on the same trajectory, but on a totally new course. Is all of human consciousness making this leap? No. But enough are that we are already in the gateway of the 2012 transition in consciousness. In fact, years ago I asked my spirit guide ‘White Eagle’ what will happen in 2012?

He answered that much of the upward shift in consciousness predicted for 2012 had happened by 2005!

My cosmic spirit guide ‘Mark’ recently had more to say about 2012:

The period around 2012 is an important astronomical time. It is an alignment of the earth with the equator of the galaxy. Since there is a lot of power and speed at the equator of the galaxy, this is a period of great potential, a time where many windows of opportunity are open. The period isn’t just 2012. The effects are in place now and will go on well past 2025. Though because of the effect of what people believe on human consciousness, what happens in 2012 is very much dependent upon what you expect to happen. So I hope that all of you expect greater spiritual opportunities, greater opportunities for peace and compassion, and not opportunities for destruction or disease or half the people leaving the planet. It is an important time. The energies are strong. The magnetism is strong. It is a lost opportunity if you don’t align to that which you want your future to look like. If you are still aligned to the past—to warfare, to greed, to survival, to struggle and to win-lose, then that’s what your palette will be for the next few thousand years. But if you are aligned to what you want your future to be—your visions, your dreams, then that is what the palette will be for the next few thousand years. If you are not aligned, you will lose the opportunity and will stay the same as you are. It won’t be the destruction of this earth. This is now a time calling for alignment to your highest principles and dreams, and not to your past.

What are the bigger cycles of time and frequency that the earth goes through?

The cycles are sine-like or wave-like, so they have ups of frequencies and downs in frequencies. They are scalar in that they grow exponentially according to a geometric pattern. These waves represent frequencies not just in the earth, but frequencies that are perpetuated throughout the galaxy. These frequencies show up as solar disturbances, as magnetic disturbances. They show up as crashes of civilizations or growth of light in civilizations. There are times when the pattern of waves gets interfered with by some things outside your galaxy, and then this pattern of waves begins over. Some native people believe that there has been five times that these major patterns have broken down upon the earth. The truth is, it is six times that these patterns have come to some huge crescendo and then broken down. The earth is actually in its seventh scalar wave pattern system. Opportunities of consciousness and growth change with these changes in patterns.

What do we need to know about the current times?

This is a great time. The frequencies are smooth, they are expanding, and they are not likely to be disrupted for many thousands of years. It is a great time for growth. It is a great time for compassion upon this planet—compassion to the planet, compassion to the other species that share the neighborhood of humanity. In the next 15 years there are so many windows of opportunity for peace and partnership with each other, in families, in communities, through countries, and with the nature kingdom. We guides are very active trying to wake you up so you use the windows of opportunity. It’s a very good time.

Perhaps the Maya are reminding us that the future is up to us. I see huge evidence of an expansion of consciousness as we all transcend old limitations, becoming once again the multidimensional humans we are meant to be.
